• Use AI Ethically: Acknowledge that your videos are AI-generated when sharing publicly

Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited on PeakMV:

Copyright and Intellectual Property Violations

• Uploading copyrighted music without proper authorization or licenses
• Claiming ownership of content you did not create
• Using trademarked material without permission
• Infringing on the intellectual property rights of others

Harmful or Offensive Content

• Creating content that promotes violence, hatred, or discrimination
• Generating sexually explicit, pornographic, or adult content
• Producing content that harasses, threatens, or bullies individuals or groups
• Creating content depicting or glorifying illegal activities
• Generating content that exploits, harms, or endangers minors
• Producing content that spreads misinformation or disinformation
• Creating deepfakes or misleading content intended to deceive

Discriminatory Content

• Content targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, sexual orientation, or age
• Hate speech or symbols associated with hate groups
• Content promoting supremacist ideologies

Platform Abuse

• Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or exploit the Service
• Using automated systems or bots to abuse the platform
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or bans
• Reselling or redistributing the Service without authorization
• Interfering with other users' access to the Service
• Intentionally generating large volumes of content to overwhelm the system

Illegal Activities

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose
• Money laundering, fraud, or financial crimes
• Creating content related to terrorism or extremism
• Violating export control or sanctions laws

Content Responsibilities

As a content creator on PeakMV, you are responsible for:

• Music Rights: Ensuring you have all necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for the music you upload
• Content Accuracy: Not creating misleading or deceptive content
• Disclosure: Clearly indicating that videos are AI-generated when sharing on other platforms
• Legal Compliance: Ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction
• Impact Consideration: Being mindful of how your content may affect viewers and the community

Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it to us immediately:

• Detailed description of the violation
• Project ID or user information (if applicable)
• Screenshots or evidence (if available)
• Date and time of the incident

All reports will be reviewed confidentially. We take violations seriously and will investigate thoroughly.

AI-Generated Content Ethics

As an AI-powered platform, we expect users to:

• Be Transparent: Disclose that your videos are AI-generated when sharing on social media or other platforms
• Avoid Deception: Do not create content designed to mislead viewers about its AI-generated nature
• Respect Likeness: Do not create content that inappropriately uses the likeness of real individuals without permission
• Consider Impact: Think about the potential consequences and societal impact of AI-generated content
• Credit Appropriately: Give appropriate credit to human creators (musicians, lyricists) whose work is featured

Appeals Process

If you believe your account was suspended or content was removed in error, you may appeal by:

1. Emailing support@peakmv.com with "APPEAL" in the subject line
2. Providing your account information and details of the action taken
3. Explaining why you believe the decision was incorrect
4. Including any relevant evidence or context

Appeals will be reviewed within 5-7 business days. Our decision on appeals is final.

Updates to Code of Conduct

We may update this Code of Conduct to reflect changes in our community standards, legal requirements, or platform capabilities. Material changes will be communicated via:

• Email notification to registered users
• Prominent notice on the platform
• Updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page

Continued use of PeakMV after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Code of Conduct.
